K-BIS Theatre School, Brighton's Premier Performing Arts School, opened in 1998 and has since been in business as a national and internationally successful Full-Time/Part-Time Academic Performing Arts School providing a balanced vocational and academic education for boys and girls aged between 3 and 18+.

The Premises

The school has two converted studios, classrooms, male and female changing rooms, an office and a reception area. The building is very close to Preston Park railway station and is only 50 minutes from London. It is also within easy reach of the M23 and M25 motorways, as well as Gatwick and Heathrow airports.

The theatrical agency AGENCY K-BIS also operates on the premises and all students attending the school are invited to register. As a result of membership, students have appeared professionally in films, television (both terrestrial and cable), videos, voice overs, fashion shows and stage productions.

Academic Education

An all round academic education is paramount in the life of the performing artist whether they be an actor, dancer or singer. All our academic staff are highly qualified and committed to encouraging all students to achieve their maximum potential. Our small, friendly classes enable us to cater for the individual needs of each student.

Once a year there will be an assessment of each student coupled with annual academic school examinations. Through out the year students will be encouraged to take part in external dance, drama, singing and music examinations. Also national festival work is of enormous benefit to the performer.

Vocational Activities

We have a long standing tradition of hugely enjoyable courses held in late July where professionals from all branches of the profession are invited to give classes in their chosen fields.

Every year there are several excursions to see productions at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Festival Theatre, Chichester, Stratford Upon Avon, London Coliseum, Covent Garden etc.
